Turkey: Visit with me Side, the ancient Greek city | Travel

DE||Heute geht es mit einem Beitrag zu meiner „Turkey Vacay 2016“-Reihe weiter. Wie ihr schon im Titel lesen konntet, nehme ich euch heute auf eine kleine Reise in die antike Stadt Side mit. Ich zeige euch in diesem Beitrag ein wenig die Ruinen, die Promenade, den Hafen und ein paar Cafés. Natürlich dürfen Outfitfotos hier nicht fehlen. Ich werde nicht alles hier in diesem Post zeigen oder erwähnen, da noch ein weiterer Beitrag aus dieser Reihe folgen wird, wo ich auf den Tag näher eingehen werde.

In dem Ort Side habe ich dieses Jahr zum 5. Mal Urlaub gemacht. Das erste mal in Side war ich in 2013 und dort wollten wir auch schon vieles von dem Ort kennenlernen und haben den Transportbus „Dolmus“ zur antiken Stadt genommen. Davon gibt es auch einen Post auf meinem Blog. 2013 wussten wir noch nicht, dass es dort außer den ganzen Ruinen noch was gibt. Es klingt jetzt vielleicht ein wenig merkwürdig, doch ihr könnt es euch so vorstellen: Mit dem Bus wird man auf einem großen Sammelparkplatz rausgelassen direkt vor einer Straße, die zu den Ruinen führen. Die Straße ist steil aufragend und entlang der Straße lassen sich schon die einzelnen Ruinen anschauen und einige sind sogar noch begehbar. So zum Beispiel sieht man die Säulenstraße, das große Theater, das Aquädukt und das Ruinenfeld am Stadttor. Diese Straße führt hoch bis zum Großen Tor und ab dort fängt dann die Stadt an mit ihren ganzen Boutiquen, Cafés, Restaurants, dem Hafen und auch dem Apollon-Tempel. Jedoch dachten wir vor drei Jahren, das nach dem Großen Tor nichts mehr folgt, sondern nur ein Museum was ausgeschildert ist und so haben wir den Ort auch wieder verlassen. Doch dieses Jahr haben wir uns auch durch das Große Tor getraut zu gehen und auf dieser „Entdeckung“ sind tolle Fotos entstanden, die ihr in diesem Post bewundern könnt.

 

EN||Today I have a post from my „Turkey Vacay 2016“-series for you. As you have read in my capation, I take you on a little journey to the ancient city of Side with me. I show you some ruins, the promenade, the port and some cafés. Of course my outfit pictures should not be missed. I won't show and tell you everything, because another post from this series will be uploaded, which will be tell you more about the day.

I was the 5^th time in Side this year. The 1^st time I went to Side was back in 2013 and there we wanted to see everything of the place, so that we have taken the bus „Dolmus“ to the ancient city. I also have uploaded a post of this on my blog some time ago. In the year 2013 we did not known, that there is much more about the place besides the ruins. I know it sounds a bit strange, but you can imagine it like that: The bus stops at a parking spot directly in front of a street, which leads to the ruins. The street is steeply rising and along the street one can look at the individual ruins and some of them are still accessible. For example you can see the Triumphal arch, the ancient theatre, the walls of the ancient theatre and the aqueduct. The street goes up to the Vespasian Gate and after the gate the city starts with its shops, cafés, restaurants, the port and also the Temple of Apollo. However we thought three years ago, that after the Vespasian Gate nothings follows and only a museum is there, which is signposted, that's why we leaved the place. But this year we distursted to go through the Vespasian Gate and on this „discovery“ great pictures were developed, which you can salute in this post.

With Patches and Choker in the Fog | Outfit

DE|| Es ist echt anstrengend, wenn man nach dem Wochenende früh Uni hat. Erstmal muss wieder der Schlafrhythmus in Ordnung gebracht werden und mental muss sich wieder auf das Zuhören und Mitschreiben eingestellt werden. Zweitens überprüfe ich jeden Tag die Fahrverbindung, da es sehr häufig Störungen oder andere Zwischenfälle mit den Verkehrsmitteln in Berlin gibt. Besonders letzte Woche durfte ich mich ärgern, denn normalerweise kann ich mit der S-Bahn zur Uni durchfahren, doch die Woche wurde auf meiner Strecke umgebaut, sodass die Bahn nicht durchfahren konnte, weshalb ich mit zweimal umsteigen auch endlich angekommen bin. Die Fahrt hat eigentlich nicht länger gedauert, sondern war mit ca. 45 Minuten sogar fünf Minuten kürzer, doch dafür sehr umständlich und das Suchen der Gleise war auch nervenaufreibend und anstrengend. Nicht zu vergessen die volle Regio morgens, die ich eigentlich immer durch die leere S-Bahn versuche zu meiden. Doch glücklicherweise sind die Umbauten diese Woche schon wiederum und ich kann entspannt und ohne Sorgen die S-Bahn nehmen. Hoffentlich lässt die nächste Störung länger auf sich warten, denn nochmal eine Woche voller Verkehrsmittelwechsel wäre einfach nicht verkraftbar, wenn es doch so einfach und schnell gehen kann.

EN|| It is very exhausting to have university in the morning after the weekend. First of all my sleep rhythm has to find its routine and mentally I have to set myself for listening and writing down. Secondly, I check the driving connection everyday, because there are a lot of trouble and incidents with the transportation in Berlin. Especially the last week I could annoy myself, than usually I can ply with the city train to university, but there were conversions on this track, so I had to take other city trains and local trains with switch. Actually this drive took with 45 minutes 5 minutes fewer, but was inconvenient and the search for right tracks was exhausting and nerve-racking. Not to forget the full local train in the morning, which I actually try to avoid by taking the city train. Fortunately, the conversions are over this week and I can take the city train without any doubt. Hopefully the next trouble won't come soon, than another week full of changing the transportation were not to cope with, if it can get faster and easier.

Fall Colours | Outfit

DE|| Es ist geschehen - ich habe mir eine Erkältung eingefangen! Einfach das ganze Paket mit Schnupfen, Husten und Fieber. Es ist echt anstrengend, denn durch die Kopfschmerzen fällt es mir schwer mich bei den Vorlesungen zu konzentrieren. Zum Glück habe ich mir zu Beginn des Wintersemesters ein Diktiergerät gekauft und der Kauf hat sich bis jetzt echt gelohnt. In solchen Momenten würde ich mein Diktiergerät mit nichts tauschen wollen. Bei Veranstaltungen, wo man kaum etwas mitschreiben und nur zuhören muss, wird das Gerät von mir verwendet. Oder auch bei Stunden, wo man beides, also zuhören und mitschreiben muss, dann hilft es sehr den Dozenten aufzunehmen, denn es fällt doch schon schwer ihm zu folgen, wenn man zur selben Zeit von den Folien abschreiben muss. Generell ist die erste richtige Uniwoche sehr ruhig verlaufen. Ich habe alle meine Dozenten kennengelernt, die Semesterübersicht zu jedem Modul gesagt bekommen und auch mehr von meinen Kommilitonen durch die Vorstellungsrunden erfahren. Auch wurden schon die ersten Einkäufe erledigt, nämlich Bücher und ein iPad Mini 4. Für mich ist das iPad Mini 4 echt praktisch, da es leicht und klein ist und perfekt zur Uni mitgenommen werden kann. So kann ich auf der langen Fahrt mal das ein oder andere Buch mir durchlesen.

EN|| It happened – I got a cold! Complete the full package including sniff, cough and fever. It is really exhausting, because with headache it is difficult to focus on lectures. Happily, I bought a voice recorder for university at the beginning of the semester and the purchase was worth it. Such in those moments I would not swap my voice recorder with anything. At lessons, where one should only listen to, I use my voice recorder. But also at lessons, where one should listen to and write down things, then it is realy helpful to record the lecturer, because it is difficult to follow the lecturere while writing down all the information from the films at the same time. Generally, my first uni week was very calm. I got to know all my teachers, the overview to every module and could fond out more about my fellow studens through the introductions. Of course some purchaes were also done, namely books and an iPad Mini 4. For me the iPad Mini 4 is handy, because it is lightweight and small and that is why it is perfect to take it with me to university. So I have the chance to read a book at my long drive.

Turkey: Turkish A La Carte Restaurant | Food

Nach einer kurzen Pause bin ich wieder zurück. Wer mir auf Instagram folgt, der hat schon mitbekommen, dass ich wieder in der Türkei war. Allgemein ist und bleibt die Türkei mein liebstes Urlaubsziel und vor dem Studium, wollte ich mich nochmal entspannen, sodass meine Mutter einen kurzen Spontantrip für 8 Tage gebucht hat. Ich kann euch sagen, dass es ein toller und erholsamer Urlaub, bei dem auch wieder sehr viele Outfit- und Naturfotos entstanden sind, die ich euch in den nächsten Beiträgen zeigen werde. Ich glaube meine „Turkey Vacay 2016“ - Reihe wird sich bis zum Sommer ziehen, da ich einfach so viel Stoff zum Bloggen haben und nächstes Jahr folgt dann der 14. Türkeiurlaub, also werden meine ganzen Türkeibeiträge nie enden.

I am back after a short break. Who follows me on Instagram, they saw, that I was in Turkey again. Generally, Turkey is and will be my favourite place for vacation and before the study I wanted to relax, so that my mother booked a short spontaneously trip for 8 days. I can tell you, that it was a great and restfull vacation, in which new outfit pictures and nature pictures were taken, which I will show you in the next blog posts. I think my „Turkey Vacay 2016“ - series will take until summer, because I simply have too much stuff to blog about and next year there will be my 14^th Turkey vacay, that is why all my Turkey posts won't end.

Turkey: Boho Style | Outfit

Dieser Trend ist schon seit dem letzten Sommer nicht mehr wegzudenken und auch ich möchte ihn nicht mehr missen. Das ist einer der Trends, der jedem Typen steht und vielseitig eingesetzt und getragen werden kann. Durch die vielen verschieden Muster, Farben und Formen findet einfach jeder das richtige für sich. Und wenn es jetzt nicht ein komplettes Outfit im Stil sein muss, kann auch schon ein Tuch im Boho Style das ganze Outfit trendig und modern gestalten. Was mir an diesem Trend gefällt ist, dass es lässig und casual ist. Einfach nicht aufgestyled und gezwungen wirkt, sondern völlig natürlich aussieht. Durch ein simples Top sieht man schon schick aus und noch ein Vorteil daran ist, dass der Trend durch Schmuck unterstützt werden kann, jedoch ist es kein Muss und auch ohne jegliche Accessoires sieht ein Look komplett aus.

This trend is since the last summer on everyone and everywhere and I also do not want to miss it anymore. It is one of the trends, that fits everyone and can varied be used and be carried. With a wide spectrum of pattern, colours and models it is feasible to find the right one for oneself. If it is not a fully complete outfit in the Boho style, already a scarf with a Boho pattern can fashion trendy and modern the look. What I really like about this trend is that it is casual and does not appear as being styled and being forced, but the Boho style looks natural. Even with only a simple top one does look chic and another benefit is that one can support the look with jewellery, but it is not a must and also without any jewellery the outfit does look complete.

Beige and Cream = Valentine's Day Look | Outfit

Heute ist der 14. Februar und somit Valentinstag. Es ist der Tag an dem Verliebte eine schöne Zeit zu zweit verbringen oder Singles alleine zu Hause sitzen und sich irgendwelche Filme anschauen. Dazu noch vielleicht eine Packung Taschentücher und Snacks. Ich gehöre definitiv zu der zweiten Kategorie, so dass ich zu Hause sein werde. Jedoch werde ich nicht als heulender Alleingänger im Bett liegen, sondern für meine Politikwissenschaftensklausur lernen. Zudem finde ich die ganzen Vorurteile von Singles am Valentinstag zu übertrieben. Es werden falsche Bilder in Filmen, Serien etc. vermittelt, denn nicht alle Singles sind am 14. Februar am Boden zerstört, sondern verbringen die Zeit mit Freunden und haben Spaß. Was werdet ihr so an Valentinstag machen?

Am Freitag war ich mit einem Kumpel in einem Club. Ich wurde von meiner Agentur dorthin zu einem Shooting eingeladen, sodass wir einen kostenfrei Eintitt bekamen. Und ich kann euch sagen, dass es so toll war. Der Club befindet sich im 20. und 21. Stockwerk, sodass man einen wunderbaren Panoramablick über ganz Berlin hat. Zudem fand das Shooting ab 22 Uhr statt, was echt toll war, denn man konnte die schönen beleuchteten Häuser von Berlin betrachten. Natürlich hat die zentrale Lage am Ku'Damm diesen schönen Ausblick verstärkt. Es war ein wirklich schönes Erlebnis, was ich auch nicht missen möchte. Jedoch wäre ich nicht von alleine dorthin gegangen, da es mir einfach zu teuer wäre und mir die kleine und enge Fläche nicht angesprochen hat. Nur die großen Fenster machen den Club einmal sehenswert.

Today is the 14th of February and therefore Valentine's Day. It is the day when lovers spend a nice time in twos or singles only sit and look some films at home. In addition still maybe with a packet of handkerchiefs and a snack. I belong definitively to the second category, so that I will be at home. However, I won't lie as a howling single in my bed, but I will learn for my politics science exam. Besides, I find the whole prejudices of singles on Valentine's Day to excessive. They are wrong provided wrong pictures in films, series etc., because not all singles are destroyed on the 14th of February, but they spend the time with friends and have fun. What will you make on Valentine's Day?

On Friday I was with a mate in a club. I was invited by my agency to do a shooting there, so that we got a free entry. And I can say you that it was so great. The club is on the 20th and 21st floor, so that one has a miraculous panoramic look all over Berlin. Besides, the shooting took place from 22 o'clock what was really great, because one could look at the nice illuminated houses of Berlin. Of course the central situation at Ku'Damm has strengthened this nice view. It was a really nice experience, which I would also not like to miss. However, I would not have gone by myself there, because it would be simply too expensive to me and the small and narrow rooms have not appealed to me. Only the big windows make the club once worth seeing.

Zum Outfit:

Ich habe gleich 3 neue Kleidungsstücke an: Den schönen beigefarbenen Mantel, dann die schwarze Hose und das cremefarbene Oberteil. Ich finde dieses Outfit sehr schön zu Valentinstag, da die Farben sehr schön harmonieren und dieser Look einfach schlicht und elegant ist. Um die Farbe des Mantels, sowie des Oberteils aufzugreifen, habe ich mich für meine geliebte Michael Kors Tasche entschieden. Da ich keine wirklich schönen Schuhe habe, die dazu perfekt gepasst hätten, habe ich mich für meine schwarzen Stiefeletten entschieden. 

To the outfit:

I wear 3 new clothes at the same time: The nice beige coat, then the black trousers and the cream-coloured upper top. I find this outfit very nicelyfor Valentine's Day, because the colours harmonise very nicely and this look is simply simple and elegant. To take up the colour of the coat, as well as the upper top, I have decided on my beloved Michael Kors bag. Because I have none to really nice shoes which would have fitted to it perfectly, I have decided on my black shoes.

Last Winter | Outfit

Die ersten Klausuren sind überstanden und ich habe jetzt eine Woche Zeit mich zu erholen. Natürlich werden es keine „faulen“ Ferien für mich, da das Pauken und Lernen auf mich warten. Aber bevor es so richtig losgehen kann, musste ich mich natürlich motivieren. Und die beste Motivation ist... SHOPPEN. Ja, richtig! Ich war schon lange nicht mehr so richtig shoppen. In den letzten Wochen habe ich mir nur sehr selten was neues zugelegt, dagegen ist sehr viel Kosmetik bei mir eingezogen. Ich habe nur ein T-Shirt bei Adidas bestellt gehabt und eine Jeans und ein Top bei Zara gekauft, sonst ist leider bei mir nicht so vieles eingezogen. Doch in den letzten zwei Tagen habe ich es geändert und ich habe mich ins Zentrum von Berlin begeben, um viele schöne Sachen zu finden. Natürlich wurde ich sofort fündig, wie soll es auch anders sein. So habe ich schöne Oberteile bei Hollister, TK Maxx, Mango und Forever 21 gefunden. Auch habe ich mir einen sehr schönen Mantel von Only gekauft, sowie eine Hose von Mango. Zara darf natürlich auch nicht fehlen, wo ich mir eine neue Jeans bestellt habe, die hoffentlich in den nächsten Tagen ankommen sollte. Natürlich gibt es bald auch schöne Outfitfotos von mir. Bis dahin habe ich noch ein Outfit, welches bei Schnee entstanden ist. Jetzt wo der Schnee schon wieder weg ist, vermisse ich ihn einwenig.

The first exams are over and now I have one-week time to recover. Of course these become no "decayed" holidays for me, because learning waits for me. But before it can go off so properly, I had to motivate myself. And the best motivation is... SHOPPING. Yes, properly! I was not shopping for a long time ago. During the last weeks I have got new stuff only very seldom, against it a lot of cosmetics has entered with me. I have one ordered T-shirt from Adidas and I have bought a pair of jeans and a top from Zara. However, during the last two days I have changed it and I have proceeded in the centre of Berlin to find many nice things. Of course I made a find immediately how it also should be. Thus I have found nice upper tops from Hollister, TK Maxx, Mango and Forever 21. Also I have bought to myself a very nice coat from Only, as well as trousers from Mango. Zara may not be absent of course where I have ordered myself a new pair of jeans which should hopefully come during the next days. Of course there will be soon nice outfit photos of me. Till then I have one more outfit which has originated with snow. Now where the snow is away again, I miss it a little bit.

 

Zum Outfit:

Ich finde dieses Outfit echt schön, um im Schnee eine Schneeballschlacht zu starten oder für einen Spaziergang im Park. Ich habe das Outfit in den Farben Blau und Grau gehalten, da dies einfach die perfekten Farben für so ein Wetter sind. Vielleicht denkt ihr jetzt, ob mir nicht kalt war. Nicht wirklich, da der Pullover echt dick und warm war. Zu dem wurde ich schön durch die Weste gewärmt. Auch war meine Jeans aus einen dicken Stoff genäht worden, so dass sie einfach perfekt für den Winter ist. Dazu durften kuschelige Boots, sowie eine Mütze und Handschuhe nicht fehlen. Wenn ich mir die Fotos so ansehe, vermisse ich den Schnee und bereue das Outfit nicht so oft getragen zu haben.

To the outfit:

I find this outfit really nice to begin a snowball battle in the snow or for a walk in the park. I have held the outfit in the colours Blue and Grey, because this are simply the perfect colours for such a weather. Now maybe you may think whether it was not cold. Not really, because the pullover was really thick and warm. To it I was nicely warmed by the waistcoat. Also had been sewn my jeans from a thick material, so that it is simply perfectly for the winter. In addition might not be absent snug boat, as well as a hat and gloves. If I have a look at the photos in such a way, I miss the snow and I do regret to have not carried the outfit so often.
